Section 1: Ceremony

Wedding Ceremony Timeline: What to Expect & How Long Each Part Takes

1. Guest Arrival & Prelude

Typical Time: 15 - 30 minutes before processional

  • Sets the tone as guests arrive

  • Allows buffer for late arrivals

  • Outdoor ceremonies benefit from longer preludes

  • DJ makes any needed announcements during this time

2. Processional

10. Garter Toss
